Hi all. I claimed credits for various amounts (med, rent etc) in recent years and got refunds in relation to same.

Recently enough however I went about requesting P21s for the same two years and on each the USC and Final Result is down as 'Balanced' as opposed to me oweing money or being owed money as it displays normally. Perfect; as expected.

What bothers me is that there is a part called 'Panel B Adjustments' which shows the attached:

    Untitled.png

The bit at the bottom bothers me - Panel 7B will Increase Tax Payable.

The actual sum that's in that box is the exact amount as the refund I received in respect of those years. No circumstances changed.

Does that mean I owe them the exact amount they refunded me or is the fact that the final result is 'Balanced' with 'Treatment of Result' as a blank mean that I'm balanced and don't owe/am owed money?

I'd be grateful if you could help.

    Thanks for reading.

Balanced, you owe nothing and no further refund is due.
