I'm hoping to make some shelves from reclaimed wood. I've sourced a 4m long piece but am wondering are there any places in or around Dublin that might cut it for me? rang Clonee Saw Mills but they said they no longer cut wood, just sell it.

There is a small workshop in an also small industrial estate on the West side of the old Ashbourne road, just South of the Brock Inn

Try, kiln dried hardwoods, near greystones , they might cut it for you. It can be difficult to get reclaimed timber sawn up unless you are certain there are no nails , etc in it .

Just an update on this, I bought some wood from Kellys Timbertrove and they cut it for me to specification, very good service. I asked about cutting reclaimed wood bought elsewhere but they weren't too keen due to possibility of nails which is understandable

I know the general area you're talking about as I live in North Dublin but do you happen to know the name of the industrial estate or business?
