Gorey route suggestion

Hi - looking for suggestions for a route that starts & ends in Gorey. Ideally something not too hilly, and maybe in the 70-80km type distance.

I have tried googling, but when you dont know the area, how safe / good are the roads, sign posts etc it's hard to make informed choices.

I'm staying out by Gorey Celtic Football Club, so was thinking of heading inland from there, but don't really have a clue. If any local knowledge is out there I'd appreciate some suggestions.

Gorey - Arklow - Woodenbridge - Aughrim - left at the r747/748 junction to the Wicklow gap(hill of Annagh) Gorey is 60 km on good roads

You could carry on to Carnew from the crossroads but I havn't cycled those roads before, closer to 70km.
You could come north of Arklow and along the beech road to Avoca, then down to Woodenbridge and on the loop this would be > 70 km.

Thanks for that Carawaystick, my hole is twitching nervously at the mention of Wicklow Gap after Sunday's WW200!! I have driven through Woodenbridge area before and it is lovely so might try a route that includes it.

A loop I do quite often would be to go Carnew- Shilleaeagh -Tinahealey-Aughrim -Woodenbridge -Arklow - Gorey. Usually works out at about 82km for me.

Thanks for that. Is it well enough sign posted to undertake with Garmin like things?
