Temple bar whiskey

I bought a bottle of this in Dublin airport recently. Anyone know where it's made or who makes it? . The Internet doesn't have an answer. The bottle has the temple bar pubs website on it. But weirdly that website gives no mention or information about the whiskey. I doubt its made in Temple Bar.

The 700ml bottle cost me 39 euro.

Yeah, that's the packaging alright. No leads on the liquid or the recommended retail price. The lady in Dublin airport said it normally retails for 49 euro. I haven't found evidence to back up that claim so far.

It's possible that they sell it in the shop attached to the pub.

Haven't come across it I have to say. I know the Palace Bar have their own branded whiskey too but haven't heard of this one.

It's a cooley whiskey, bottled for the temple bar pub.

95% of previously unheard of brands are Cooley and despite constant claims by sellers that they've their own recipe etc th e timelines don't tie up.

Any NAS Cooley that doesn't make claims to be single malt I automatically assume is the same stock as Lidls Dun Dealgan. Which is not 49.99, or even close to 39 at that

I think you probably could request a kind of recipe from Cooley. This one is a mix of bourbon and port cask, so I'd imagine it's different to the Lidl and Aldi stuff.

Aldi now sell Clontarf which is Bushmills and/or Irish Distillers contract depending on the type as far as I know. Their old own brand was Cooley.
