Is there a possibility that a formal letter could show up on the higher level paper without the option of an informal letter? Is it likely to happen?

I think I remember reading in my French exam papers last year that it IS possible that a formal letter could come up on its own in the exam but- seen as the majority of JC French teachers barely touch on the formal letter- I would find it highly unlikely that the SEC would not give students the choice of doing the formal or informal letter.

    Never happened. Could though....
Its best to be prepared. Just learn off the formal ending. Learn off pourriez vous and y a-t-il.
