Bus Lane Lucan - Cop doing drivers in wrong?

There is a bus lane in Lucan running from the school/town down to the M4, most of which is sign posted as 07:00 to 09:30 (24 hour notation), later changing to 24 hours just at the end. I have often driven in this lane at 9:30am onwards.

I was there at 9:33 this morning and I noticed that no traffic was using the lane despite heavy congestion. Then the cops pulled a women in a Toyota Rav4 for driving in the Lane.

Am I missing something? Are the Guards interpreting that lane as being to 9:30 pm or something? Can't tell the time on a 24 hour clock maybe?

Anyone know the lane I am referring to, or been done for using it?

Maybe they were charging her with overtaking on the inside or breaking the speed limit?

No-one here has any idea why she was pulled in. Maybe her tax or insurance were out. Maybe she was on the phone. Maybe the car was registered as stolen. Maybe the guard recognised her as an international diamond thief. Maybe you're right and it was a mistake by the guard but without being either the woman (and I'm not) or the guard, no-one here is going to know.

or dangerous driving, recklessly flying past people on the bus lane

Then every bus in the world should be done for the same reason!

You can overtake on the left in city traffic, and she wasn't driving fast.

Cops get times wrong and/or times of the buslane wrong. Happened to me with a frozen Garda one winter pulling me after 7 on the Quays - he didn't realise how late it had got.

Of course it could be a mistake but it could also be 101 other things, no evidence that the motorist was stopped for driving in a bus lane.
