    Hello,
Does anyone know of a good computer summer camp for 7-12 year olds in the Cork area please? Looking to send my son to one but all I've seen so far are 2.5hrs per day for over €100. Anything more reasonable about?
    Thanks
    M

Doubt you'd find a summer camp for much cheaper. Might be worth checking to see if there is a Coder Dojo in your area.

    Firstly is he interested?

Secondly what would you like him to learn?

I would suggest that you save teh €100 and look at some options like

    https://www.edx.org/

    https://www.coursera.org/

All completely free courses, if it is just the basics you want then shott me a private message i'l gladly help ya out if i can make the time. No need to be splashing €100 for 2.5 hrs.

    Ah I'd say it's €100 for 5 days (of 2.5 hrs each).
At least the ones I looked at were.

    Thanks!.
Mordeith - yes €100 for five days...see original post. Seems really expensive to me based on other camps being half the price for twice the length although I do admit that they are 'sports' camps so are more people orientated.
Steinberg thanks for the links. Might have a go off a few of them. Think he'd find them really interesting.
