Buying new Gaming Laptop

    Hello,
I would like to buy a new Gaming laptop as my old one is falling to ruin. I'm foreign so I am not familiar with Irish stores selling good laptops (or foreign who import) for a good price, so if you could post me some links with suggestions for stores or even good laptops then that would be awesome.
I would use the laptop for games such as LoL, DayZ, CS:GO but I would also use it for my university educational purposes.
    My budget is under €1,000.

Might be better off asking in the laptop forum, there's a good Irish site I've forgotten the name of, I'll try find the URL

    Is a desktop an option?

At pcspecialist.co.uk (pcspecialist.co.uk/notebooks/optimusVI-17/) I configured some of the specs:

    i7 Quad @2.60
    8GB Hyper-X
1TB SERIAL ATA II / 1TB WD SCORPIO BLUE (What is the difference?)
    wireless GIGABIT LAN&KILLER

Which summed up to be €1255 inc VAT and I wont be able to pay any more.
Do you think this set up would suffice for that amount of money?

DayZ doesn't run well on anything but the other games should be okay
