    Yep. A knock-off of a knock-off.

Might not be, it is the non-WiFi version, looking at the pictures most signs of the original are there (silver screws, spelling on the box is correct).

It looks exactly like mine, maybe they are getting rid of old stock?

Yeah I got one. Picture quality was fine, but the battery life was bad, and the batteries from normal SJ4000's don't fit. Maybe it is legit, but I just thought I'd warn people.

It's a fake version of the sjcam. The "real" versions have the SJCAM logo on the bottom right corner of the camera (as you look at it) instead of the '1080' text on the left on the fake versions. Avoid these replicas... The SJCAM guys went to the trouble of copyrighting their logo for a reason, they are the best knock off version if a go pro - the others are poor quality alternatives.

The YI has over taken the SJ as the best cheap go pro now, it's a bit more expensive at 72 Euro (around 100 with the waterproof case) but you get a Sony sensor and a camera that can shoot 60fps at 1080p And 16mp pics. Which beats a lot of the lower tier go pros.

Not really , The first release of SJ4000 did not have SJCAM logo on the front, even though it was an original.
There are ways of telling if its Real or Fake but it's quite subtle and requires close inspection of the camera and box

I've got one of these real originals and It's been serving me well!
