Will a cr2032 fit a Vag keyfob, mine has stopped unlocking my car and halfords.ie have them for 4.99, once I have replaced it do I need to do anything else.

Open it up and see what battery is in it now, I have put CR2032 in keyfobs before but not in VW keys.
