trying to login to my website via ftp and get this message : 42150 (max) users already logged in

my site is down

what could be happening?

host under some kind of attack or something?

Suggests restarting the FTP server.

Suggests it is a glitch and you can send in a ticket to your provider. But by the time it has been seen the problem has sorted itself out.
