Health insurance dental work

I'm going to ring the insurance company on Monday, but anyone know if any dental work is usually covered? I'm not talking about refunds on filling etc.. I'm talking 10k+ worth of reconstructive work following an accident. Looking online it appears only minor amounts are covered?
