    Hi,

Wondering if travel expenses are being paid by HSE for NCHDs (not in training post) attending courses in a different county?

They'll only refund part of sone courses, they make no contribution towards expenses incurred.

Sorry to bring this up again.

As a trainee doctor on Training scheme and attending a mandatory BST course in Dublin, are we allowed to claim for mileage (from base to Dublin)? One of my colleague is getting mileage allowance for same, but others disagree. I am not sure which part is true.
    Someone has any experience pls?

The mandatory BST course has nothing to do with your employment with the HSE, just your training body. So technically you shouldn't get paid. But I doubt that many in the HSE salaries offices would know the difference, so no harm in claiming for them.
