My TV is giving all sorts of problems, the screen is flashing and has now reduced itself. It is a few years old now, and am wondering whether anyone could advise if it is worth trying to get it repaired or to just dump it and get a new one. Technology is moving ahead so fast that maybe it's not worth repairing these things anymore?

    What kind is it?

Initially , I'd be inclined to just replace it.

yes I decided to do just that, when I phoned a TV Repair place this morning, he laughed at me because it's so old.
