Incubator, & apidea

    Any tips & advice on incubating queen cells & transferring them to the apidea
    will be greatly received. I look forward to your reply's .

    Put them straight into the apidea - no need for incubator. The hole in the cover lines up with the round gap between the frames - that's where you put the queen cell. You could wrap a piece of aluminium foil around the base and stick a cocktail stick through that to hold it in place. Here's some good info: http://www.beekeepingforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=8124


    Once the queen hatches, make sure you have sealed brood before you put the queen gate over the door!
