Has anyone got their respite grant today? My mother is worried because she didn't get anything yet, but can't get through to them on the phone.

I get it now ..........its €1375 per person that they look after , I know someone got €2,750.

Its holiday pay really , but tax-free holiday pay , paid directly into the carers bank account .

Yep. Turns out they made a mistake, this time last year it was my Dad who got the payment as he was the carer, but he's passed away.
