Job hunting & similar job postings

I'm currently job hunting and have come across two different job openings - one directly for the client and one through a recruitment agency.

Both are for similar positions, but differently worded, and are both for financial institutes. I have already applied directly to the client, but there's a chance that the employment agency are acting on their behalf.

It could be a coincidence and they are completely separate jobs (I mean, there are more than one financial institutions), so should I take the risk and apply for the one through the recruitment agency?
