Hi,

Im planning on doing some small personal projects for my portfolio and redesigning the inside of my house. Does anyone have any recommendations on what software is the best? id like to be able to also design some of the stuff if that's at all possible, i.e furnitures etc.

I second Google Sketch Up, particularly if you use add on software that up the rendering quality.
