    Cheers, I'd been looking at hooded crow pictures and I didn't think it looked much like it. This one looked a bit more speckled than the pics online.

    Hard to tell from photo, Are some of the feathers white?
    but
    It may be a new fledgling(recently left nest), Hooded crow fledglings often have some white feathers,

    Yeah, that looks more like it alright. It was flapping a few yards on when I got close to it rather than flying off so that would make sense.
