I've recently started to use it. It gives a nice shiny finish, lasts for a good while. It's scentless, but there's v little in a bottle. A large car will use a nice helping of it.

Your dash is supposed to be matte, not shiny because when it's shiny it reflects in the windscreen and this is seen as causing an obstruction.

Years back when there was not much else to use, The Son of a gun was my weapon of choice.
That was until I came round a bend one summers evening with the sun setting and it hit my dash and literally blanked out my vision.
I used all sorts of wash products to get it off my dash when I got home.
    NEVER AGAIN..!!

I love a shiny dash, never had a glaring problem with it either. Whenever one leaves a car to get valeted, the plastics and dash always come back shiny. It's down to personal preference at the end of the day.

i agree. was always a fan of a shiny dash.

if the glare from the sun makes driving difficult for you, you should probably keep sun glasses in the car.

back when i was a bit mental altogether i used to put auto glym instant tyre dressing on my dash with a microfiber. class job, really shiny and smelled lovely but not greasy or sticky. worse again i used to put meguiars endurance gel on harder wearing plastics like the sill plastics and that bit of the door that your foot always hits.

now i have a matte dash because i'm lazy. just a rub of a damp cloth and clean as a whistle, if a little drab looking.

What product do you find best to get a really good shine on the car tyres? I use Turtle Wax Wet n Shine.

I use Autoglym Vinyl and Rubber care, but ran out, my local auto factor only had stp son of gun so tried it ,i prefer the Matt look, stp will give a shine, but i think i will go back to Autoglym.

I bought the son of a gun in the end. Seriously shiny dash now, although it leaves the dash a little sticky so every spec of dust sticks to it. It does leave the dash looking superb and the black plastics look brand new.
