Checking Medical Card status online

    A lady friend applied for a medical card , and checked on Friday www.medicalcard.ie to see if it had been issued .

    The status was that medical card had been issued . here is the online reply
    Application Status: Medical Card issued on 25/05/2015

    Card was received today , and it is only a GP card .

    Does the online search reply not distinguish between full medical card / GP card ?
