Advice on a Spring Coat - Warm but lightweight

Thanks in advance for your help.

Usually when it's cold I wear this lovely warm duffel coat. It's lightweight but unfortunately doesn't look at all professional going to and from work. So I'd like something a lot more polished.

I don't mind about the colour, anything but black really, preferably pastel colour.
Nearly to the knee length would be good.

Now on the face of it, it sounds like there are many coats out there fitting that description, but due to a medical condition I feel the cold more than most, so the nice ones aren't warm enough for me.

I got a trench coat from Zara a few weeks ago. It's nicely lined so it would have been a bit too warm for me to wear today, but could have been just right for you? This is the link: http://m.zara.com/ie/en/woman/coats/trench-coats/cotton-trenchcoat-c710517p2367847.html

That a good idea to get a trench with lining. Or I wonder if I find a coat I could get it lined. Mmmm. Thanks Jo :)

I was going to suggest a trench coat, too. I've seen a couple of lovely ones around town (on people), and in Zara, so there are definitely some out there. They're also very versatile :)

Try Joules...they sell the brand in the Kilkenny Shop. Fabulous summer coats and pastel colours. Very chic.
