Hi All, I 'm not sure if this is the right section but here goes! I have been left part of a house and some cash in my mothers will and I was wondering how the Irish state views tax requirements for non-residents, I am an Irish Citizen but I live in Germany. Will I be liable for Irish tax and if so, what are the limits on this? Would I also be liable for tax payment in Germany where the do have a tax on inheritance? Any help is appreciated :-)

This is legal advice and banned.

However, on a non legally binding basis Irish property is taxed in Ireland regardless of where the beneficiary is located.

As to the rest- pay a lawyer/ tax advisor

We dont go to college for 8 years to give it away on internet forums
