VAG & BMW boys - anyone use ET EngineTeam for parts?

Czech based company, came across them on eBay.de
They do a line of what seem to be very competively priced parts for BMW and VAG cars. But are they any good? Anyone have experience?

In particular, I may need a crankshaft pulley which is 300 all in (Dual mass shreddiness, don't you love it!) from BMW Ireland , or about half that delivered from Czech Republic.
Belt drives the waterpump. Am I just better off to suck it up and buy the dealer part?

leebmann24.de (German BMW/MINI dealers from what I can make out) have a genuine Schwingungsdämpfer for about 220 to my door from Germany.

Is it a genuine damped pulley for half the price though?

If it is a spurious one then you don't need to get it from the Czech Republic to make a 50% saving.

What BMW is it for? I have had bad experiences with aftermarket crank pulleys on certain BMW models.

Hi George, I was hoping you'd reply!!
    Czech one is aftermarket.
Didn't know they were that easy to get here - any brand you'd recommend? Any particular source or just any ol motor factor?

It's for a mini, R50 model ie 1.6 normally aspirated. Early models had a flawed design of pulley allegedly.

Belt is squealing intermittently. More linked to throttle than electrical load. Sit in neutral, clutch pressed , no noise. Clutch not pressed, maybe noise. Clutch pressed, into first and release clutch, chirp chirp chirp. Once it gets warm around the city, back off the accelerator then press it again chirp chirp chirp.

Turn on dims, fulls, spots, fogs, rear window demister... lights will dim slightly, but no squeal. Battery voltage is 14.6 idling with no major electrical load. 12.8V with all the above turned on.

Tensioner and belt relatively new, 3 years, 4 years max. Belt looks ok to me (cue stevie wonder meme). Took pictures of the crank pulley will try to upload tomorrow. Dunno what to make of it. Rubber looks a bit shabby but it didn't fall apart in my hand. Noticeable bit of oscillation but I guess that's why it was specced as a dual mass jobbie.

Meant to change the belt but no way could I get access to the tensioner. Haynes manual and a few online sources say if you don't have the BMW tool you can insert a 3/8 driver into a square in it.... But nobody tells you a standard breaker bar or ratchet are 5mm too fat to fit between tensioner and chassis.

I use Car Parts Pros for a lot of my stuff, throw in the part number and they'll return a few options from OEM to OE to Spurious, whichever you're looking for, flat delivery rate too.

Only one hit for that part number. No longer available. Will bookmark it for future reference though, cheers.

Is it childish to want to buy a Schwingungsdämpfer from langer.de?
