What's the story with Gods punishment?

    Is it a case that:

''God permits punishment from his enemies either natural or supernatural into humanity?''

    Or:

''God causes or afflicts punishment himself onto humanity?''

Because I'm sure the latter would compromise his goodness.

On another note, if God punishes the wicked is that not a good thing?

Does Good comprise itself by wiping out Evil?

God's goodness is in punishment?! Wow! Erm, I don't know where to begin slating this nonsense.

I don't really understand your question! What's your premise? God does not cause or permit "punishment" on earth but God is a just God and will call us to account when we die. At that point those who didn't know him will be punished by being cast out of his presence for eternity

Why would that be a good thing? Christ died for all of us, we are all wicked, he gives us a way out through his Grace

Eh? Are you suggesting God needs a reason to exist? God had always existed. The fall of Satan is "relatively" recent

I think this is a false dichotomy. Your question assumes that one of these two things must be the case. But that's wrong; logically, there are other possibilities.
