Hey all pretty much new to this,

I'm looking to spend €600. on a travelling bike with side pannier bags for a lightweight tent and stuff for camping on the road.
Anyone have any advice on what to look out for in a bike like this when I'm buying.
    thanks

an aluminium road or cx bike, with eyelets for the panniers. either a triple or a compact groupset. sturdy back wheel. 25mm gatorskins.
I've used aksium wheels and an aluminium cx bike for camping and mainly cycling on road, works very well. relatively light and fast.
a cycle to work bike such as a trek 1000 or giant defy would fit the bill too.

Sounds good, so 600 euro should cover this yeh? I'll have a look at both of thosevthanks.
