    Hi all,

Im looking to join or start a band in tralee or nearby towns. I'm looking for people to jam with, cover songs, write originals, gig if band is already gigging and to just have fun playing music(Because thats why we do it at all, right?) I've been playing bass for 4 years now. I play guitar also but would be more comfortable on bass. Musically, I would play and listen to anything from rock, metal, indie, pop, funk, jazz, blues, rasta, dance, electronic and hip hop.

I'm not a music nazi or elitest so don't be afraid to get in touch.

    Cheers,
    Ryan.

Hey Ryan. We're looking for a bass player for a rock cover band. We practice near Killorglin. If interested shoot me a pm, cheers!

How's your search for musicians going? I'm based in Kerry too and I've spent years looking for serious players with no luck. I've met a lot of time wasters not willing to work. It's very hard to get anything going. Close to impossible.

Hey. I know, it's hard in Ireland to get a band going if your not in Dublin or Cork, and if you are rural, forget about it. I have been switched to evenings in work so for the time being gigs will probably be on a hold. I'm still looking to jam though. Are you currently in a band?

No, like I said I've found it impossible to get anything going. I'd only be interested in jamming if there was a drummer and singer at least in the mix. I'm a guitarist. I've been down the road before a few times of learning songs with one or two people and not having enough members to form a band. People pull out as a result as it feels like it's going no where and a waste of time.
