    hi guys i own a 07 vectra recently serviced other day but flywheel is starting to give way:mad:.anyway cant really afford to replace at he moment as costs bout 1k to replace.friend of mine has a clutch for it with only 5k miles on it and rang round looking for a good flywheel in which i found one on partfinder with only 5k miles on it for 120 euro.should i get it as ill be only keeping the car for another year maybe 2.thanks for your help

    Are you sure it's the correct flywheel and clutch combo?
    Have they any way of proving the 5k on the flywheel?

    If they are both answered yes then maybe you'll get away with it!

    ya clutch was pulled from a vectra same engine type and everything when the gearbox failed.i can get my hands on a very good flywheel on partfinder.ie

    Once you're sure of the flywheel then fire away.
    Are you going to diy it? If so make sure they are aligned so so so correctly!

    the parts is only half of the 1K quote you got, its listed as an 8 hr job to change the clutch/flywheel
