Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Help thinking of a word

I'm trying to think of a word that means a position someone has been given in a company which is paid but they arent expected to do any work and have no responsibility.. Usually as a reward for doing other unpaid work say for example in sport.. I think the word begins with S. Hope that didnt sound confusing Thanks
