    Seen this on Done deal, seems OK, local to me and great mileage if genuine. Did a mywheels check and no alarm bells there although there wasn't any odometer readings available.
    I'm looking for advice as to any known pit falls of these types of cars?

    This too shall pass.

    Gearbox bearing goes at somestage in all of these 1.4 hatchback Civics, if the gear change is notchy/difficult to engage then the bearing is probably on it's way out.

    Power steering pump is another common issue on them so look for proof or receipts for both of these have been replaced.
