Software to recover deleted files

    A couple of files were deleted from a micro SD card earlier.

    The web is full of software that say they can recover deleted files.

    But has anyone ever successfully used any software to recover deleted files that they could recommend?

    I've done it loads of times. I use PC Inspector File Recovery. I'm sure you already know this, but make sure you save the recovered files to somewhere other than the SD card.

    Recuva is the one I'd usually try. Once the files haven't been overwritten it should be able to recover deleted files from FAT, NTFS, ext2 and ext3 filesystems. Works on memory cards. Wikipedia has a comprehensive entry on it. It's free to download from piriform.
