I think there is some in Oakpark, they had it as a biomass trial years ago. Don't know about seed though, it could be a sterile hybrid. What do you want it for?

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

We grew it ONCE as part of a biomass project back in 09. It didn't really grow very well and ended in a pure failure. I don't know where you would get seed though

Was going to plant 0.25 acres of it as an early cover plant for Corncrake. It goes well early in season. All it has to do for me is to be 20cm high come mid-April. Has to be mowed every year though to prevent rank growth. I'm not too bothered whether it produces high yields or not.

Try Mortons in Banbridge for seed. I bought 4 acres about a month ago.
