Pituitary Tumor... anyone?

Hi. It's not uncommon, I hear. I am not afeared of the tumor itself altho I have gained a  healthy respect for its physical impact. I am, however, increasingly frustrated with my quickening lack of executive functionality. I have read sporadically about it's affects, but have limited my awareness, out of an anxious desire NOT to have surgery. Plus I find the cold facts listed on medical websites raises my anxiety levels. If anyone has experience with dealing with such, I would appreciate your perspective.

I have experienced some very unfriendly physical symptoms with this  "thing" flattening my pituitary, but most are deal-with-able, albeit not pleasant... all except for two - my temporary sight loss, but mostly my memory loss. Loss of short-term memory, especially when related to the Executive Functioning of the brain, is not a side effect I have seen listed under pituitary tumor conditions, but it is the most debilitating to my personal functionality... and it seems to be expanding. I intend to discuss with my Neurologist, but am wondering how others have dealt with a similar condition.

    Thanks :)
