Failed to send texts?

    Over the past few days I am getting this happening.
    Try to send text and it fails. Funnily enough I can send to some numbers.

    Moto G2 phone. Works perfectly. Could send to any number until this started happening. Anyone else come across this?

    I am on Tesco Mobile.

    what app are you using to send the texts? stock messaging?
    I had the issue with lollipop not letting me send over 50 messages or so.


    that might help. or install a new sms app, I used handcent, chomp or gosms pro is the one I always fall back on

    I only always use the standard one.
    Find it strange I would have to use a 3rd party one. ?

    2 Moto Gs in the house and both are sending and receiving fine, id say its the carrier or your SIM tbh. Was your SIM precut or did you cut it?

    My wife has the same phone and it sends texts no problem to the ones mine refuses to.

    Both the same carrier.

    Both precut sims.

    Have you checked your message center number is set correctly? If it is it's probably a Tesco mobile problem, or more specifically a problem with your Tesco mobile account.

    Hi,

    I just tried there now again with one number I can not text.
    I am on Tesco mobile and the other person is on Three.

    Can not send.

    I have sent another text to my wifes phone and it works fine every time.

    I just now tried to send one to a vodafone friend and it failed
    Tried to send one to another Three friend and no joy.
    Do you suggest i contact Tesco?
    I am a light user so am on their €15 per month plan and am well ahead of my top up date.
    In fact there is excess funds there.

    I have logged on to my Tesco mobile account to discover that somehow my Text addon had got mysteriously turned off.
    I have messaged them about this.

    Will report back. Thanks for the help
