4 Person Champagne Scramble -Everyone Tee's off , pick the best drive and then play your ball & finish out. Two to score , full handicap & 3 drives each.
Question : what happens if you get a hole in one ?
One of the other Teams had one in Slade Valley today on the 13th (index 15) , so how many points awarded?

I'm open to correction, but I believe the other three player tap in from the edge of the hole for a birdie. If they were four 18 handicaps for example, the team would score five and four points for a total of nine. All depends on their handicaps though. If two of the players had two shots on the hole and the player with the hole in one hadn't any, then the guy with the hole in one wouldn't even count!

In this format it's very stupid to not have everyone to play their own ball on the par 3's
I played in one of these before and a 2lady 2man team had the flag stitched from the tee shot from a lads shot.

2 women tapped in from 6inches with 2 shots on the hole as they were both off 36..... Absolutely ridiculous stuff

I'm open to correction too but my thinking is that the hole is completed with the hole out, so couldn't see why you'd be placing the ball anywhere on the green again. It would constitute two eagles for whomsoever you please on the team.

That would also be my thinking

The player who got the hole in one got 5 points , a marker was placed 6'' from the hole & one of his team tapped in for birdie ( with a shot) for 4 points =9 Points

I would have thought the same. So the two highest h/cap's would gain the most points in this situation without even hitting a ball.

I & others would have been of the opinion of 2 Holes in One.
To be fair the Golfer that got the Hole in One was happy to offer a drink to all but would the 'Second ' Hole in One been so generous ? :-)
