I really need advice!

Hi all,
Around three - four days ago a profile was created on a dating website, which I wont name, but it looks fairly dodgy. The profile that was created was in my name and my phone number was also provided for all to see.
At first it may have been somebody's idea of a joke, however it has now gotten out of hand and my phone is constantly ringing and receiving texts. The texts I'm getting are quite detailed and I just want it all to stop.
The ad has now also been updated and my snapchat username has been added also.
I am a female, and to be quite honest I am really scared. Getting vulgar phonecalls throughout the night and creepy texts constantly as well as numerous adds on snapchat, which I haven't excepted, it's just all gotten way out of hand.
At this point I cry or nearly start crying when I think about it, but I dont know how to make it stop or catch who did it so they can take it down. At this stage I think i'll just have to go to the guards but I dont know if they'll be able to help me.
Any advice would be sincerely appreciated.

Firstly contact the company that owns the site. They should be able to take down the site. I'd lock down my fb etc. Also see if you can limit the calls on your fine to recongised numbers. You need to figure out who done this and rid them from your life. Then perhaps get a new number. Doubtful gardai can do much. Good luck x

I'd contact the gards first as they would have more power with the a website than you and they could find out from info the site have as to who created the account.
Be careful though as the person who did it could try making another one as soon as this one is deleted.
But the gards would be best as a friend who had something similar to her the website wouldn't delete the profile until the gards were involved.

contact the site. they should be responsible for what's up there.
after that, try to figure out who would do this and why.
