    Thought it might make for an interesting topic.

    This year i've made a bit more of an effort to get more elevation into spins, but I'm in east meath so it's pretty flat.
    I've a triangle of hills from bellewstown to skerries to garristown that i'm close enough to use to help the elevation numbers but wondering what others are getting?

    2011 = 5.2
    2012 = 4.7
    2013 = 6.3
    2014 = 6.7
    2015 = 7.9

    Got figures from here

    14.5 for last year and 12.6 so far this year. Pyrenees and west Cork the main causes of that.

    That's interesting just ran through my details and for the last 4 years my numbers have been 9.8, 9.9, 9.8 , 10.

    9.9 to 11.8 over the past 5 years. Pretty good, a 1% average climbing/km is generally my goal when out

    I do a mixture of road and MTB riding so tend to measure in mts climbed per hour. 400 mts per hour is a decent target and 500 mts is tough going!

    My numbers:

    2011 = 8.4
    2012 = 12.4
    2013 = 12
    2014 = 10.7
    2015 = 8.9

    Not to sure why 2012 was so high. 2014 and 2015 is a little disappointing.

    I try to stay above 15. Anything under 10 and I'm almost ashamed to put it in the training diary. I'm in Dublin so heading for the hills is the best way to find some quiet roads.
