    Hi everyone,

I recently finished up my college course for the summer months, and will be returning in September. I have been on Back to education all this time and am now entitled to a jobseekers allowance for the summer after filling out a form from the social welfare in march.

What i wondered was does anyone know is it just a quick switch back to jobseekers from the back to education? Will i get paid fairly fast or will i be weeks without money waiting for the switch over? Anyone that could help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

It should just switch over. One week you will no longer get it in the bank and you will need to go to the post office to collect it.

you may need a letter from your college with finish date on it for welfare. but the switch over is usually fairly quick.
