Where can I buy a lightning to 3.5mm jack connector?

What equipment are you trying to hook up that has Lightning but no 3.5mm??

I'm trying to connect a FiiO E11 portable amplifier to an Apple iPod (5th Gen) by connecting both using the FiiO's 3.5mm socket and the Apple iPod's lightning port. I know that I can connect both units using the 3.5mm jack ports on both units but I would like to connect using the lightning port.

Fiio themselves make various cables to accompany their amps. Would any of these be what you're looking for?

I think your problem is that old Iphones/ Ipods had an analogue line out in the 30pin interface whereas the new lightening interface doesnt.

Getting a usable analogue signal is your problem.
According to this thread one of the ways is to get a lightening to 30 pin adapter, and then plug in the Fiio 30pin to 3.5mm adapter.

Honestly, it sounds probably like one of the few feasable alternatives.
Pluging into the headphone socket directly only means you are getting the output of the apple headphone amplifier, which is what you are trying to avoid.

Lightning->30-pin->3.5mm (2 adapters) sounds like the ONLY solution.

At least the 30-pin adapter has a DAC itself.

OP: Honestly, the Apple DACs are decent, and you'd be better off saving money for an amplifier with a DAC (like FiiO E7, E10, E17 or E18).
