Seat Leon 1.4 TSI Air con unit replacement

    Hi all,

I have been looking at a smashing 2010 Leon TSI. Turbocharged 1.4 petrol in silver, sports spec set up.

I was today literally about to buy it today and got my mechanic to check it out. He identified that the aircon pump seems to be leaking and the aircon isn't working as a result.

The car is selling for 8,900 and his lowest price is basically 8 and half. This seems like a good deal to me but I am stretched budget wise at that price so would like to know in your experience, is this a good deal and how much is it likely to cost to replace the aircon pump? Or can these be re-sealed?

Any and all help very gratefully received on this car and Leons and buying in general, very new to the car buying game
