2013 passat unlocking problem

strange one, all of a sudden the car will not unlock on the remote. it will lock and open the boot but not the doors. i am having to manually open the doors atm. no spare key to try. any ideas? thanks.

When you say the boot is opening do you mean the boot opens via the separate boot button on the key?

Or do you mean that when you press the regular unlock button on the key the boot unlocks but the doors don't?

It's probably still covered by warranty, take it to a dealer.

Had a similar problem with my central locking on an astra with the fob not working even though the fob battery was ok,was told that the key could have been dropped or knocked and what that does is disconnect the code from memory.To remedy this you put the key in the ignition,turn key to turn ignition on but do not start the engine and press the keyfob cental locking and this reprogrammes the code between the car and keyfob .....
