Hi,I'm just about to qualify come September and from an Irish perspective I know Irish nurses start on about €27000 a year, was just wondering how often you go up the pay scales. Also how do our wages compare withEngland,Australia, etc, anybody on here who's left to nurse elsewhere, just trying to weigh up my options, would appreciate any advice.

Increment every year until you reach top after ? 10 years.

Best way to check pay in UK is on NHS recruitment website,
    https://www.jobs.nhs.uk/cgi-bin/advsearch
loads of jobs going over there, dunno about Aus, maybe check a recruitment website. Didn't your college/Uni do a recruitment day?
