    Hi guys

I have tried to quit so many times, other products I've used leaked, overheated and I ended up with the juice in my mouth, oh and constantly felt I needed a real smoke! But I've just ordered an Eleaf iStick Full Kit With GS-Air Clearomizer 20w, I read a few reviews and it looks good, I just hope it is as I'm so tired of smoking and want to quit, but of course need help! Any advice would be great! Thanks!

I think it is every bit as important to find a juice that suits you as it is to have good hardware . Get yourself into your local shop and try out some . And don't do the typical Irish thing and get embarrassed and say sorry because you are not gone on the first two or three that you try and end up walking out the door with something you don't particularly like . Also make sure you get a nicotine strength that is appropriate , if you were smoking 20 Rothmans then go for a high nicotine , if you were smoking 8 silkcut light then go for a lower level nicotine . Lastly remember there are no rules , if you want to smoke as well while you are getting used to the Ecigs then do that ... I continued smoking for 3 or 4 weeks at the start and even then I kept on to my tobacco pouch and it is still somewhere on my desk ( I'll find it if I ever get around to tidying up ) , I just didn't want it any more .

    Oh yeah , drink plenty , e-cigs are a de-hydrant .

I never realised they could dehydrate you! Thanks so much for the advice, when I first tried them there wasn't much advice regarding the device itself and I found them a poor replacement, I ordered some tobacco flavoured liquids that are high enough in strength to try them out, I think you're right it will take a lot of trial and error!

You'll find that as you continue vaping your senses with spring to life again with a vengeance and after a while your brain will no longer be able to block out just how acrid cigarettes actually taste and you'll naturally prefer vaping. You'll then begin to try other flavours - fruits, drinks etc. that give you a pleasant taste as you vape.

Hi nkav86 - good choice on the iStick and GS Air - we great great reviews from our customers on both those pieces of kit. Also some excellent advice from jonski on correct levels, good flavours and hydration. Just to add that if you were a heavy smoker and you do find that you have a cigarette again, say while out with friends for a few beers and the urge gets too much - don't dump vaping as a bad idea that didn't work for you - don't put pressure on yourself - just get back on the horse and try again.

Excellent advice and recommendations thank you, I will definitely be in to the store, I appreciate the feedback regarding the device, very kind!
