We are going Copenhagen next week, 2 adults and 2 teens.
I was wondering apart from Legoland and the Zoo in Copenhagen, what other fun activities or attractions would you recommend for those who have already been there.

The Carlsberg museum is interesting. Tour takes about 60-90 minutes and you get a couple of beers at the end (not sure about the teens)

The boat tours around the harbour and canals are nice, especially if the weather is good

    Tivoli Gardens
are bang in the centre beside the main railway station. It's a mixture of amusement park and restaurants. On Fridays they have concerts but next weekend it's some local called Joey Moey. There's an interestingly named Mads Langer :pac: in a couple of weeks

In my experience.. It's a good city for taking your pants off ... Sorry I had to..

But seriously... Great place, friendly people, flights are cheap as 4 airlines now compete on the route from Dublin... Am yet to do Carlsberg tour but that's also on my to do list... Best time I had there was last year at the Distortion Festival which I'd reccomend. The whole city of Copenhagen tends to shut down to cars for the most part... And it's street party's everywhere,,,,

Tivoli gardens is great, canal tour, a wander down shop street (Stroget). Sit by the canal in the evenings with a few drinks and pizza etc. It can be great craic, especially on a lovely warm day with the sun shining.

You probably know this already but Denmark is not a cheap place to visit, so bring plenty of krone. :o

Public transport is excellent. I would say better than Germany. Be careful especially with kids though as the locals have no problem pushing you out of the way to get on/off.

I'm in Denmark regularly and the Danes are most definitely not a friendly bunch.

You could also take a couple of day trips:

    1) Take the train to Helsingør and visit the Kronborg castle there (the setting for Hamlet), and then go across to Hillerød and visit the marvellous Fredericksborg Castle and gardens (it looks like something out of a fairytale).

    2) Take the train across the Øresund to Malmö, in Sweden

I'd have to say that I've had no problems with Danish people at all on my various visits there.

So just got back from Denmark and the people there are alright. But the business and shop staff are very rude.
One instance I went inside a souvenious shop and I asked for extra package and she said no it is bad for the enviroment. The cheek of her.
I was taking a picture with one of the knights of the castles and he pushed me. Good thing my cousin was there otherwise I would had punched him and the lady.
The prices are very expensive aswell.
Apart from that it is enjoyful. Lots of things to do.

Was in Copenhagen last year, got on grand, but like all Scandinavian countries it's quite expensive. Took a walk one sunny day around the city and ended up at the Little Mermaid statue. So it was really warm and I spotted an ice cream stand - was the equivalent of €5 I think for a scooped kinda cone. But sure, you'd get wiser the longer you'd be there - found a lovely sandwich shop called Holms Bager which was quite reasonable and the sandwiches were to die for. Hadn't any bad experiences with rudeness or anything like that, in fact I'd have to say that the guys in the Lego Store I visited were really nice and very helpful as I wanted to bring stuff back to the kids, and they were really great in telling me what they'd like and all that. What else, lots of walking and pottering about really, went to Malmo for a day on the train over the Oresund Bridge, that's really cool. So yes, I'd definitely go back.
