    Hey guys,

I'm currently halfway through a one year hdip in computing and I will be specialising in SD next semester.

I'm just wondering if any SD companies give internships to students or would I be better off looking for a more general IT internship for the summer.

Also, if a more general route is necessary do any of you know good companies to intern for?

    Thanks.

Several companies have formal internships such as IBM and Microsoft; but I imagine you've missed the application dates for this year.

You could try asking around the researchers/lecturers in your college; they may have some contacts who would be interested in interns for the summer.

If you're interested in Development I would definitely suggest trying to get a Development internship; but unfortunately they're not that easy to come across.
