2007 Honda civic 4 door saloon brake caliper

Hi All,

Need a front driver side brake caliper replaced and its proving difficult to find.

My car: 2007 Honda Civic 1.8 4 door Saloon - manual gearbox

Seems to be plenty of front brake calipers available online for the more abundant 2006 - 2011 Honda Civic hatchback. I'm wondering would the front brake caliper for the hatchback civic also fit the 4 door Jap saloon variant?

Can someone confirm this or advise me on how to confirm it myself?

Pretty sure they're different, hatch uses a Lucas system I think.

Your model code is FD. This might help you find one.

There was a few different calipers fitted on that model, brakeparts uk list 4 different calipers!

So just to let ye know I eventually got the calliper 2nd hand.

The same calliper is used on a Honda Stream. Honda were looking for €476. I got my one for €150 from a breakers.



(Colm: The calliper was too badly damaged for a rebuild)
