Commercial tax

    Looking to buy a commercial jeep its a 2.7 ltr
    wondering if the tax will stay the same as ive heard i need a vat number or something
    Just wondering can i just go and tax it as it is or what do i need to do any advice would be great

    If you need it for business or work you're ok, you will need to make a declaration, you may be required to produce a VAT no. PPS no. herd no. or a letter from your employer, at commercial rate it's for work only, and strictly speaking must not be used for recreational use i.e. towing your boat, caravan, going to the shops or taking the kids to school etc..

    No its for private use only as i have dogs and it would suit me better so where do i stand on that i wont ever tow anything

    In theory you will have to tax it privately if you insure it privately.

    Did you try and Tax it yet ? I have to Taz a new Peugeot Partner and wondering if they look for a lot of doc's
