Just wondered how much is it to get a wheel bearing supplied and fitted roughly?
I've an Opel Corsa, I think it a rear wheel making the noise.

12 euro each for rear bearing off eBay fitted my self.

I guess using garage and genuine parts it would 25 parts and 50 to 60 labour. So not huge cost.

Rear wheel bearings on the corsa is a common fault.

Jack it up hand brake off and spin the wheel by hand you'll hear the noise very quickly if they are worn.

Are they hard to do or need special tools?

A press would be nice but I didn't have one so used a punch and 3 lb hammer

Undo the centre hub nut and the drum comes off place drum on ground and a few sharp taps of hammer will push out bearing race from drum. Use the old bearing to gently tap new bearing back into place.

The bearings come with a pack of grease ensure the grease is worked into new bearings before fitting and lastly don't over tighten hub nut it a little play as the bearings expand a little when they heat up from driving.
There is a few YouTube videos and a lot of small garages will charge a small charge for pressing out and in bearings in hub drum.
