Carers allowance back payment

    I got my first payment for carers allowance today, On the letter I recieved it said payment is due from 05/03/2015 but just got 1 weeks payment, Will I give them a call or does it take longer to recieve it?

    It could take anything up to 12 weeks to get your arrears.
    Had you a payment while you were waiting?

    Sorry for hijacking thread, but can someone who is signing on O and Xs apply for Carers Allowance while continuing to work and sign while it is being processed?
