Sorry if this has been asked before - do I take my thyroid medication before blood test or not?

I always take my thyroid medication (Eltroxin 125mcg) first thing in the morning around 6.30am.
Tomorrow morning at 10am I'm having a blood test. Am I correct in thinking that I should NOT take my thyroid medication tomorrow morning before the blood test?

I always take all my medication as normal (including eltroxin) before a blood test but I don't eat until afterwards. My guess is that it depends on what they are testing for.

    Thanks for that

As far as I know the effects of Eltroxin are gradual and build you up to a level, rather than spiking after you take a dose. I've always taken my meds as normal before blood tests, unless specifically told not to.

I had my bloods done the other day as a check up to see if I was still on the right eltroxin dosage and was told to take it as normal before getting it done that it wouldn't effect it.
